I know a lot of you struggle with getting dinner on the table each night so I’m dedicating a week to help you get it on the table each day (saving you money from eating out….and grief from your other family members 🙂 The first must do is to have a well stocked pantry. Dinner is too hectic of a time to be searching through every recipe you have praying that you have all of the ingredients. Am I right, or am I right? And the last thing that you have time to do is to run to the store to pick up that missing ingredient. I want you to like cooking and enjoy making healthy meals for your family so…I (with the help of my mom and dad….got to give credit where credit is due!) created a list of must have items in your pantry so that you can make almost any recipe. Go through and see what things you’re missing and then watch for sales so you know what you need to be stocking up on.

Great list! I love having a well-stocked pantry. It’s so nice not to have to run to the store when I have to make something I didn’t plan on making when I did my grocery shopping. I started building my pantry by walking up and down the store aisles thinking, “now what did my mom always have on hand?” If I’d had your list, I wouldn’t have had to wander so much! Thanks!

Powdered eggs have a shorter shelf life than thngs like rice and wheat; some only give ithem a few years. I have had mine for 4 1/2 years and have kept them cool; so far they are still fine. We have been eating ours down as we have been living almost exclusively on our food storage (and our garden) for the last two years.

    It looks great, Crystal.
