Fruits & Veggies to Eat During Winter – Constantinos Market (2024)

Long before refrigerators, climate-controlled environments and imported foods, humans had no choice but to eat the fruits and vegetables that grew naturally and locally during each season.

While today we have the option of eating our favorite produce year-round, it’s still a good idea to eat seasonal fruits and veggies. Why? In-season produce is fresher and more flavorful, and contains the maximum amount of vitamins and other nutrients.

Many people naturally eat seasonally during the summer months, but assume there’s no fresh produce to choose from during the wintertime. Think again! There’s actually an abundance of tasty in-season fruits and veggies available during the colder months.

Want to start eating seasonally this winter? Consider adding any (or all) of the below fruits and vegetables to your cart during your next trip to our store.
