How much your insurance coverage will cost. Travel insurance premiums are determined by the plan you choose, your age, and the length of your trip. For Trip Cancellation coverage, the cost of your trip is required to determine your premium.

Out-of-Province/Country Emergency Medical
Provides emergency medical travel insurance Canada-wide (excluding your home province) and internationally, covering up to $5 million in medical expenses. Coverage includes air ambulance, emergency hospital stay, treatment from a physician and other medical expenses.

Trip Cancellation
If an unexpected death, illness or other specific unexpected circ*mstance means you have to cancel your trip, this benefit is payable from the day coverage starts to the day you’re set to leave on your trip.

Trip Interruption
Up to $2,000 to get you home if an unexpected event such as an illness or death in the family occurs while you’re away.

Flight Delay
Up to $500 per trip towards additional accommodation and travelling expenses if your scheduled flight is delayed for more than six hours.

Baggage and Personal Effects
Up to $750 per insured person (to a maximum of $2,000 per trip) in the event of loss or damage of baggage and personal effects while on your trip.

24/7 Trip Assistance
Coverage includes assistance in obtaining an emergency cash transfer, lost document and ticket replacement, lost luggage assistance, and trip planning information such as passport and visa information for the country you’re visiting.

Unlimited Number of Trips
Multi-trip plans provide coverage for an unlimited number of trips per year, up to 10 or 23 days per trip (depending on the plan you choose). You can purchase additional coverage if your trip will be longer than the number of days covered by your plan.
