POSITION OVERVIEW:

Under general supervision, this position involves close coordination with the Client Services Manager in overseeing the Bank's day-to-day operations, including depository transactions, opening and maintaining accounts, supporting the Commercial and Private Banking sales teams, and supervising the Client Services Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise the Client Services Team members.
  • Represent the Bank to clients courteously and professionally, providing prompt, efficient, and accurate service in processing requests and transactions.
  • Assist clients and ensure transactions, including teller/vault and opening new accounts, are processed accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide high-quality service while performing various duties such as processing and approving wire transfers and assisting clients with questions, changes, or concerns regarding new or existing accounts.
  • Cross-sell various Bank products, seeking to broaden the services provided to new and existing clients, keeping current on all banking products and services.
  • Process Debit/ATM card orders and related fraud alerts, claims, and return procedures.
  • Partner with relationship managers (RMs), private bankers, and commercial banking associates to satisfy client needs.
  • Remain knowledgeable about the required documentation for all types of businesses and legal entities, including beneficial ownership.
  • Open a variety of personal and business accounts, including: political, fiduciary, escrow, sweeps, CDARS, and ICS. Explain various account and ownership options, providing the counseling necessary to meet the stated needs and obtain the required information.
  • Assure compliance with all applicable State and Federal banking regulations, bank policies, and procedures, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy Act/Anti Money Laundering Program and Information Systems Security Policies.
  • Input BSA questionnaires for Political and Fiduciary accounts in nCino.
  • Perform other operational functions, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, stop payments, selling cashier’s checks, wire transfers, and account maintenance.
  • Liaise with RMs and contact clients about maturing CDARS and CDs for transfers and reinvestments.
  • Maintain Bank cash usage and limits by preparing/ordering cash from Brinks/US Bank.
  • Complete various reports related to banking transactions; review, prepare and process multiple operational reports, including: NSF, general ledger, large item, and daily balancing.
  • Review and upload new accounts for the Client Services and Private Banking teams.
  • Assist with Bank's quarterly certifications.
  • Order Deluxe New Account Kits and supplies for the Bank.
  • Address client complaints and inquiries; maintain contact with clients through telephone or written communication, as needed.
  • Mentor the Client Services Team; complete annual employee evaluations and ensure adequate coverage for a smooth operation (must escalate concerns to the VP, Client Services Manager).
  • Determine clients’ online and cash management needs by explaining various banking services.
  • Monitor and resolve activities and inquiries in Bank’s general email inbox and online banking chat platform.
  • Perform essential office functions, such as organizing and filing.
  • Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • College degree in business, related field or equivalent working experience.Diploma or degree in Banking or Finance.
  • Minimum of three years of relevant banking and supervisory experience required.
  • Leadership and management skills that inspire high performance from team members.
  • Operational knowledge of deposit and cash management banking regulations.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills with both internal and external clients.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel; knowledge of Salesforce.
  • Thorough knowledge of all Bank services, deposit compliance regulations, Bank Secrecy Act, and management experience.
  • High level of client service and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively throughout the Bank and to represent the Bank positively to current and potential clients.

Salary Range $77,000-$98,000 annually
