Never gonna touch the gacha part of this game in the slightest, and since my friend uses it, I figured I'd give anything gacha related to them, is that possible? I googled it and got nothing

I'd assume not or else people could just generate infinite currency for themselves lol.

No you cannot. Developer most likely doesn't want someone abusing this by creating 100 alt accounts that gather free gems from events or dailies and send them to one main account.

Alright, this is the first time I've legit touched a game with gacha elements and I had no idea how it works, thanks

No, don't think so. Besides, while its perfectly reasonable to play without spending money, not using the free primogems you can get to try for characters yourself is rather strange...

I guess I just dont want to promote the sort of mechanics that this game includes. Maybe if the game was complete and it was a full game and done, then I could personally see myself using it, but as of now, I wont touch it

Yeah, tbh I don't see the problem with rolling anyway. Though there are also many things you can do in this game with those gems rather than rolling too, so if there were a game for it, this would probably be the one I guess.

    Okita for life.

Tbh if you wanted to take a stance against gacha mechanics, your best bet would be to not play it at all. You're still supporting it even by playing free, as you're an extra number they can add when saying "Genshin has so-and-so many active players worldwide!" in their advertisem*nts and such. Free rolls from free gems just not being used is only negatively affecting you, really.

I suppose so yea, honestly I just jumped in knowing nothing about it cause my friend was playing it, so I tried it out. the gameplay is super fun and I'm having fun with literally everything else about it, that's all
