What is a wedding buttonhole?
A buttonhole, also known as a boutonniere is a floral decoration traditionally worn at weddings by the Groom, Groomsmen, Ushers, Father of the Bride, and Father of the Groom. They can be worn in the lapel of the men’s suits or attached to the outside of suit blazers using pins, always on the left hand side.
how our buttonholes are made
Our buttonholes are handcrafted using beautifully scented roses tied with our seasonal herbs and foliage. They can either be tied together with open stems, or expertly wired into place for a traditional buttonhole.
How will my buttonhole arrive?
We send our buttonholes securely packaged in flat boxes with pins provided so you can easily attach them to the suits. As like all our products, they are shipped overnight on a fragile service. We recommend receiving all wedding products the day before the event; read more delivery information here.
Creating a cohesive wedding theme
Our wedding buttonholes have been designed to complement and coordinate with our bridal and bridesmaid bouquets, so you can have a beautiful colour scheme throughout your wedding. We also have a stunning range of wedding corsages for the wonderful women taking part in the special day.
Buttonholes for wedding guests
Wedding guests may also decide to wear their own buttonholes. It is advised to check with the couple on their colour schemes so they do not wear something similar. Keeping wedding guest buttonholes simple and small is recommended. Going as a couple? Why not get a matching corsage?
