The app just updated and now my blossoming bush is producing planted flower seeds instead of tin cans. I was well on my way with reaching the stone can to complete the grand drive, but now I suddenly can't get the items necessary anymore. Do others have this as well?
Hopefully youve finished the Maze already, because you need the planted bush now for at least one Planted Flower lvl 9...

Me too @ZoniDuck. I kept it for ages but finally sold it a few weeks ago thinking it was no longer relevant and I was short of inventory space.
Does anyone know what the new seeds are for? Will they have any relevance outside of obtaining the Bolton can?
Yes, you need them at least once in the Maze, Task 140. Maybe there are more needed in the maze, cant tell you yet.

Tasks 140 and 128 in the maze both need them (both “place plants on the right side”)

Hi @Robbie768 and @Andersj6 Thanks for taking time to reply. I’m very nearly out of the maze and so far have managed to reflower with either Orange Flowers (from pots/seed bags) or Peonies (from vases). I sold my Planted Bush a few weeks ago having kept it in my inventory for several months after completing Ignatius Bolton. I’m really hoping that I don’t need to regrow it to complete the maze - or at all really!

I had just placed orange flowers on the left side of the benches when the update hit. I’m glad I didn’t preemptively create the extra seed bags needed for the other 2…

Me too Zoniduck! And, thankfully I had already finished the maze so I didn’t need any blossoming bush flowers - not yet at least!
OK, so I haven’t seen anyone post about this so far so I’ll do it now. When you are trying to complete The Beginning, and get the Stone Can there’s an easier way. We all know how hard it is to get the can. We all know how annoying it is to finally reach level 12 the Briefcase of Cash and then realize that you have to do it all over again to merge both briefcases to get the can. It’s such a huge letdown!!
After the update the game gave us the book with all the merge chains in it. For each merch chain that you have completed you get rewards. For example to complete the merge chain- Vase your reward is Ursula’s blue card. The card is used to increase the level of a single non-producing item by one. In other words you can get all the way to level 12 briefcase and just use the card!!! This will immediately up your briefcase to the stone can!! Therefore you save a ton of time effort and energy not having to do the entire thing all over again. I am about to start the Casey & Skatie event and I’m going to go all the way to the top and use the card again to finalize the sign. I hope this helps you guys. I stumbled on it right after the update when I got a blue Ursula card as a reward and was so happy to realize that I could use it like that. Let me know if anyone else uses this and how quickly you can get through an event with it. Remember do not waste those blue cards!
Well, I finished IB and C&S a long time ago so now I use every blue card I get on the light blue door. That way I immediately get a broom cabinet L5. It has been the best use for me this far.
