Blog Investments I've Made as a New Blogger

I am writing this post on December 29th, 2019. I can’t believe the year is almost over! I am more than ready for 2020, and I can’t wait to start a new fresh year!

In July 2019 I’ve started my blog, this January will be my 6th-month blogging, and I am planning it to be the best one yet in my blogging journey.

In these past 5 months, I’ve made a few investments for my blog, that made it better, and also grew my blog’s traffic and income from my blog!

I wanted to share with you guys the blogging investments I’ve made as a blogging beginner that helped me grow my blog’s traffic and income!

These blogging investments are totally worth making, trust me. LET’S BEGIN!

1. Web Hosting

Ifyou are planning on making money from your blog, and turning it to your part-time or full-time job, a self-hosted website really is a must-have.

You can’t make money on your blog if you don’t have aself-hosted website.

My goal is to make my blog my full-time job, so I knew I had to have a self-hosted website.

After a little research online, I found thatBlueHostis the best match for me! They are the cheapest, and honestly the best.They also have a 24/7 online support (which I really needed, because I am not a tech person at all lol)

2. WordPress theme

I didn’t know how much I needed a new theme after purchasing one.

I thought bloggers recommend purchasing a theme just because they want to sell your products. Oh, I was wrong.

After switching and investing in anew beautiful theme, my blog has received much more traffic, people will stay more time on my blog than before, my blog itself got quicker, and more brands have reached out for me!

3. Tailwind

This toolis great for growing your Pinterest account and also driving more traffic to your blog!

Scheduling pins make life so much easier!

4. Education

Most of my money was spent on blogging courses and ebooks.

At first, I didn’t want any ebooks, I didn’t want to invest money in ebooks, I wanted to save every penny I can.

But after 3 months, I didn’t see progress in my blog, and a lot of information that I needed was missing online, so I decided to invest my money in a few of the best blogging courses online!

I’ll tell you this, it was my best decision.

My boyfriend always tells me that “investing money will give you more money”, so I decided to listen to him.

After doing a huge research online, I found that the information provided in these ebooks are not online for free.
