The following is IGN's walkthrough to April 12th (4/12) in Persona 5.
Upon waking up, you’ll automatically go to school and board the train. Once off the train, go through the gates and you’ll automatically end up on the street leading to your school. You’ll see the school’s crest on your minimap. Head to it and go to class.
Your first class is social studies with Mr. Ushimaru. He’ll pick on you by asking you a question about way Plato said the three parts of the human soul are. He’ll tell you two, those being appetite and spirit, but will ask you to say the third. The answer is “Logic.”

After a few cutscenes, you and Ryuji will try to get back to that castle from the other day. Once you make it there, you’ll team up with Morgana once more and head in. Follow him when he leads you on.
Head down the stairs after the cutscene and follow the path. Morgana will teach you how to ambush an enemy. Ambush the enemy, defeat them, and then cross the bridge. You’ll then learn about safe rooms, the ally to every Phantom Thief. In a safe room, you can talk to your allies and save the game.
When you’re ready, leave the safe room and ambush the enemy down the east hall. Defeat it and head to the gate that’s marked by an exclamation point on your minimap.
Head down into the dungeon and you’ll get another combat tutorial of how to use a gun. Firearms are very effective weapons but require ammo to use. Continue down the dungeon and take out the remaining enemies as Morgana teaches you more techniques. Eventually, you’ll head into a small purple room that an enemy was guarding and through the door into the Training Hall of Love.
Head down the path and across the bridge to trigger the next cutscene. After the cutscene, you have to help Ryuji memorize the faces of the people being tortured by Kamoshida. Head to the two students at the gates along the path and inspect the other two long gates to see the students below. After you’ve inspected all the students, head out the way you came and then follow Morgana.
You’ll have to fight here, but it’s not one you can win.

Persona!
Ryuji has unlocked his potential and the rebel within his heart! His Persona has been summoned. Fight alongside him and Morgana to take down the Shadows. Once defeated, you’ll get to leave the palace and have a few conversations along the way. Answer however you want as it won’t affect the story at this point. You will unlock the Chariot confidant's social link.

When you head to bed, you’ll meet with Igor once more. However, this time you will unlock the Fool arcana social link with him and he shall brief you on the role of Confidants in your life.
