The holidays are always around the corner (feel like it, doesn’t it?) and many of us wouldn’t mind a little extra cash to fatten our holiday budgets. Heck, a little extra cash to fatten our everyday budgets wouldn’t be so bad either.
Each season brings its own set of challenges, but the latter part of the year can bust your budget. You prepare kids to go back to school, take a Labor day break, shove candy in buckets, stuff a turkey, endure Black Friday, and then BAM! Christmas.

Survey Junkie is one of the easiest to join and use! Once you complete the surveys, you’ll receive points you can redeem for cash (paid via Paypal) or gift cards. The best part of all, you can take surveys on any devices that are connected to the internet, so you can take surveys on the go. I love having that option because I take surveys while waiting in different places, so convenience is an added plus!

Start with the swag. Why? Because first, you can use this as a search engine and earn Swagbucks. Second, you can use Swagbucks as a shopping portal — equals more Swagbucks. Third, you can take surveys and watch stupid videos — more Swagbucks. Then you cash in for Amazon gift cards and the such.

Vindale Research is a great survey company that offers many ways to earn rewards. First, you can earn by simply checking your inbox daily for paid survey opportunities. Last, you can earn by reading email and watching videos. Once you hit a cash out level, get that money.

Opinion Outpost is very straightforward. You take surveys and you earn points. Once you’ve reached a certain amount of points, you can redeem those for cash paid out via PayPal or gift cards from Amazon and other vendors.

Digital Voice does not pay you cash (whomp) but I threw it in here because you earn entries for the monthly $10,000 sweepstakes. For me, this is no Bueno, but I like presenting options just in case.

Longer surveys guarantee some type of incentive (product or cash), but most should take you around 10 or so minutes.

Free Online Survey Pro Tips For You:
- Don’t get caught up in lies. Don’t tell them you’re 70 years old just to qualify for certain surveys. It’ll be really embarrassing if they start asking you about dentures, certain supplements (ahem, clears throat), and the such.
- Be wary of any survey companies telling you that you’re going to make a bunch of money. It just ain’t so. They lying. #boybye
- They should be free. You are supposed to be seeking the money, not them. If they say you gotta pay, walk away!
- Be consistent. If you don’t actually take the surveys, of course, you’re not going to make any money. Try to aim for 1 or 2 surveys per day during your downtime. Of course, if you have more time on your hands do a little more.
- Don’t set your expectations too high. This means, don’t get discouraged because you might not qualify for a survey. There are surveys out there, trust me. I get my fair share of them!
