You might be thinking – wait, wait…. Is it true that a MINI course truly can generate enough money (and well beyond)?
The truth is, mini-courses can be an absolute bombshell for your income. It really is one of the best types of money-making courses for various reasons:
- Mini-courses are easy to get started with. Leave overthinking outside the window!
- They’re easier to sell – you don’t need to have as much of your audience’s trust for them to be ready to invest
- Offer quick and actionable solutions
So what really indicates a “mini-course”?
The key characteristics are the following:
- It focuses on solving a clear problem (simple, actionable, clear)
- It’s lower-priced
- There’s no additional support or “touch points” with the creator
Mini-courses can work like a charm on top of your funnel, as well as be the key to it all!
What price point would we be looking at here? I’d say the sweet spot is below $100. However, the specifics will depend on your exact offering.
It’s definitely one of my favorite types of money-making courses as you can get started generating that income NOW.

Evergreen online course
An evergreen online course is the next one from various types of money-making courses.
Here’s the deal. “Evergreen course” per se doesn’t mean much as it really could be anything – your course can be evergreen within any price range, with however many lessons you have added in there and what type of content you have provided.
However, for the sake of this list, I want to focus on the fact that most of the “average” evergreen courses would have:
- Pre-recorded content only
- Passively manageable support like a group support
- Price range of $200 to $500.
The key of evergreen courses is the fact that they can be enrolled at any time and taken independently.
In most cases, an evergreen course will be focused on a specific goal, however, will provide more details than a mini-course would.

Group coaching
Mostly Live video content combined with Q&A calls, as well as Live content Recordings makes up for a good group coaching program.
As always, there are some variations of the content you can add to your course – all up to you.
However, the key to what makes group coaching programs one of the top players compared to other types of money-making courses is the simple fact that they are higher priced.
Usually, a group coaching program combines the charm of evergreen courses AND Live support, therefore raising the price up to $1K and more.

Live Masterclasses
Some might argue – not a course per se. True!
However, sometimes Live Masterclasses can include just the same amount of value as any other type of course would.
They have a clear goal, they’re concise, focused and can range from lower to higher priced.
The biggest bonus though? It’s half of the work as ANY of the other types of money-making online courses…
Most often, you will need a few slides to showcase, maybe a bonus Worksheet to add. But other than that? There isn’t much of the prep-work included before you can start selling the seats!
Live Masterclasses often are used as free opt-ins to drive leads and get attention to your digital course launches. This is another thing you definitely can do to grow your mailing list and get launch ready.
But don’t overlook the profitable side of Live Masterclasses!
Consider if creating a membership might be a better fit for you!
