While Grocery Shopping

There are a few apps that I use to help me save money AND make money at the same time while I shop for groceries. Here is my list

Meal Planning

This is a MUST if you really want to save money and not throw away food. You have to make a weekly plan of your exact meals so that when you make your grocery list you know exactly what all ingredients you will be using.

What do you have at hand?

Check in your refrigerator and your pantry and see what all ingredients you already have so that you can create meals with them. If you don’t use up what you already have you will just start stacking up food.

Eat Healthy

If you feed your body healthy foods it will lower a great percentage of you getting sick or messing up your body in the long run therefore you will be helping yourself from getting a future medical bill.

Ibotta

Ibotta – This app you use AFTER you buy your groceries by scanning your receipt. Click here to read more in detail about how to use Ibotta.

Fetch Rewards

Fetch Rewards – This app you also use to scan your receipts. Every time you scan your receipts you earn points. You can also earn points by eReceipts. Once you have accumulated points you can redeem those points as gift cards to places like: Amazon, Target, Starbucks, Ulta to name a few. If you use my code E512W you will automatically get 2,000 points when you scan your first receipt. Click here to start using Fetch Rewards!

Shop local farms

Shopping at your local farms is cheaper AND you are getting better quality food, especially if you are buying in bulk!

Thrive Market

Thrive Market is an online marketplace that offers all the non-GMO, Organic, Gluten Free, Vegan foods and healthy products at 25% – 50% below retail price and shipped to your front door! You can get 25% OFF your first order and a FREE gift when you join Thrive Market! (1year and 1 month memberships available)

Lower your monthly bills

Negotiate your bills

All you have to do is call your providers, ask about their lowest rates and let them know you would like to get their lowest rates.

Cancel unused Subscriptions

If you have subscriptions that you no longer use and completely forgot about but yet you are still paying them then it would be wise to go ahead and cancel them. You are pretty much throwing away money by keeping them and not using them. This will definitely help you save.

Eating Out

Eat out less

You can try to cut back on the days you eat out, you can set aside just 1 day a week or twice a month if you’re able to.

Deals and coupons

If you truly can’t because of whatever your circ*mstance is then try to check out the specials or look for any deals they may have, sometimes certain places have coupons as well.

Use gift cards

Whether you have gift cards from past birthdays, rewards given from your job etc. You can use those up. There are also some apps where you can get gift cards as rewards as well.
