2021 Group Coaching And My Unique Coaching Method
In today’s episode, I’m sharing with you my plans for 2021 as well as the unique approach I want to bring to individual and group coaching.
I absolutely LOVE coaching and everything I get to do with it! I’ve set some awesome strategies in place, but I’m also constantly reframing and refining my business to make it even better.
I’ve chosen to retire two of my programs so that I can give my time and energy to what I’m truly passionate about, both in my business and personal life. I’m so excited about this new direction, and I can’t wait to share it with you!
But before we dive in, let me introduce myself. My name is Megan Yelaney, and I have built two six-figure businesses and one multi-six-figure business by fully embracing my authentic self and not trying to hide the quirks that make me, ME.

Why I’m retiring two of my programs.
I have built an intense coaching business.
I feel incredibly thankful for the work I get to do and the clients I get to work with.
But I realized this year that I have so many new ideas, and I can’t work on those with the amount of coaching I’m doing right now. When I looked at my product suite to reevaluate what I might put on pause, two things stuck out to me.
The first program is my VIP mastermind. This is a high-level program where I work with up to five women. I absolutely love it, and, not gonna lie, it brings in a lot of revenue. It was honestly hard to say no to it. But I knew that it would be worth it to make a sacrifice for something that will give me more time and allow me to help more people.
The second program I’m retiring, for the time being, is my membership program, the Pretty Awkward Posse.
To be honest, I just lost my passion for it.
It felt like I was picking random business training sessions every month, and I didn’t want to do that anymore. I wanted to create something with a real mission and purpose. I didn’t want to do it just to have a low-priced option in my product suite. So in 2021, I will be focused on developing low-priced options that will lead to the Client Attraction Academy (CAA).
My goal with these smaller priced options is to help you get that first client so that you can later afford the monthly payment for CAA. I just need the time to create these entry-level programs.
While this decision was difficult, I know 100% that it was the right thing. I’m looking forward to seeing what this space and time will give me and give YOU. We’ve got some amazing things planned!

What I’m focusing on in 2021.
Since I’ve chosen to say no to some things in my business this year, I’m now able to say YES to some really cool new developments and projects next year!
One thing I’m so excited to focus on is group coaching through the unique coaching method membership. I really believe this training will be incredibly impactful because when you build your business around the kind of coach you are, everything falls into place.
I also want to focus on some things outside of my business.
I’m a coach, and I LOVE it, but that’s not all of who I am.
I’m also a wife, and I’m hoping to start my own family soon. I want to prioritize time with my husband and my family. I’m also a performer at heart. I grew up in a very theatrical family, and I really miss being able to perform. I have a gift, and I want to capitalize on it! I want to tap into my creative side to put out some really amazing content.
What I’ve learned this year.
One of the biggest things I’ve been reminded of this year is the importance of being adaptable.
It can be really easy to just go on autopilot, doing what we’ve always done.
There are some situations where that kind of consistency is needed, but you won’t grow if you can’t adapt. When you are adapting, you are listening to what your people need. And you’ll be able to help them achieve bigger and better transformations.
I’ve also realized that while coaching is my favorite thing, I have a lot more to give.
I can’t be all things to all people. So I’m deciding to give myself some space to focus on things outside of my business.
Remember that whatever you do for a living is not ALL you do. You have so much to give to the world!
When you create time and space for yourself, you can refocus your energy on something that truly serves you. That will ultimately make a bigger impact.
